Manama, Mar. 15 (BNA): The Supreme council for Islamic Affairs has strongly condemned the brutal terrorist act which targeted today worshippers at two mosques in New Zealand leaving dozens dead and injured.
The council affirmed that the heinous and savage crime contravenes with all religious principles and ethical and humanitarian values. It added that the incident requires a decisive global stance to confront extremism and terrorism by incriminating discourse of hatred and racism. It extended sincerest condolences to the victims’ families, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of the deceased in eternal peace and paradise and bless the injured with a speedy recovery.
