Vienna, Mar 15, 2019, SPA — In the presence of representatives of diverse religious institutions and policy makers from international organizations, the Pope of the Vatican has received participants in the Religions Conference and the Sustainable Development Goals.
On the other hand, the Secretary-General of the center Faisal bin Muammar stressed the importance international and humanitarian initiatives launched by the founding countries of the center, which emphasize the role of religion and human values, in the service of all domains of sustainable development, aimed at promoting a culture of peaceful coexistence and brotherhood, between individuals and peoples.
He pointed to the objectives of the center for dialogue, which emphasizes the global dialogue aimed at establishing coexistence, respect for diversity and acceptance of pluralism, under the umbrella of shared citizenship, in order to build world peace and security and preserve human religions and cultures, as a shared responsibility, requiring concerted efforts and hard work to achieve sustainable development goals, all over the world.
